After a long time of construction and facilities preparation, the second campus of Vinh University in Nghi An commune, 13 kilometers from Vinh University’s first campus comes into operation. One thousand staff and students of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Faculty moved to our second campus on September 7, 2009. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa, Vice-President of Vinh University, visited the second campus and encouraged faculty and students to overcome difficulties which they might meet with at the beginning of their teaching/learning activities on the second campus.

Vinh University’s second campus stands on an area of 258 hectares in both Nghi Loc district and Vinh City. As planned, this campus is home to Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Faculty, and Military Education Faculty. Apart from the construction of classrooms, technical infrastructure, labs, teaching/learning documents, Vinh University had a meeting with local authorities in order to facilitate students’ accommodation and other related conditions.
Solutions to diverse difficulties were made by Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Faculty to assure their professional activities. Especially, information technology is strictly required to get the homogeneity in teaching and learning activities up to credit-based training.
