After university entrance exam, student recruitment was done from September 22-26, 2009. Four thousand students of 50^th course finished university entrance procedure to start new academic year 2009-2010. This is a very important transitional course to second haft century of Vinh University’s establishment and development.

Among this four thousand students, apart from pedagogic students, many applied for newly-open majors, which shows a strong attraction of Vinh University to students. Students comes not only from northern central part of Vietnam, but also many other localities and countries of which Lao PDR, China and Thailand. Majors which attract the most students are Finance and Banking, Accountancy, Business Management, Law, Civil and Industrial Construction, Electronics and Telecommunications,  Agronomy, Agriculture Encouragement and Rural Development, Chemical food processing. This year, BSc. of Forest resources and environment management and BSc. of Land management firstly opened recruit 160 students.

Faculties, related departments and centers facilitate necessary entrance procedure to students. Student assistance is always available and helpful. Thus, students finished all required procedure in a very short time.

This 50^th training course is the third credit-based training course , an advanced training modality worldwide applied.

After finishing entrance formalities and setting up accommodation, students will begin their studies from October 5, 2009. Students of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will take their course on the second campus.
