Vinh University solemnly held the degree awarding ceremony to Thai Students in joint degree program with Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University on January 29, 2010. At the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoi, president of Vinh University, congratulated 16 Thai students on their achievement in school and appreciated their engagement and motivation in learning and extra-curricular activities at Vinh University through their stay in Vinh City. Beside their English skills, Thai students can also communicate in Vietnamese in daily activities with native people, which partly contributes to strengthen the cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand in general and Vinh University and Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University in particular. The president of Vinh University also appreciated the efforts of related departments and Foreign Languages Faculty in the organization and management of this important training course.

Among students, we particularly congratulate two students Darunee Saeng-Arka and Piya Tarnrat who got excellent results and were given a certificate of merit by the president of Vinh University.

Two years seems to be so short and significant for Thai Students and all concerned staff of Vinh University. Memories live forever between them and the friendship keeps flowering through the time.
