Vinh University debuted the pedagogical skills contest on December 4, 2010. A number of teachers and students jointed the opening ceremony which was presided by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Minh Hung, Vice-President.

The contest includes different professional skills such as presentations on board, making teaching materials, create teaching sheets and practicing teaching. After the opening ceremony, 12 groups participated in competition. On December 4, in the evening, they competed with each other in greetings art, solutions to pedagogical situations, picture commentation and oratorical contest.

On December 6, 2010, les competitors took part in the finals. The result did not surprise any one: the winner is students of Foreign Languages Faculty. The president present at the finals ceremony appreciated students of Foreign Languages Faculty for their brilliant results and he also valued pedagogical skills of students at Vinh University.
