A delegation from the University of Zielona Góra paid an official visit to Vinh University from March 18-23, 2009. The representatives of the University of Zielona Góra, Prof.DSc. Tadeusz Kuczynski – Vice-president, Prof.DSc. Piotr Rozmej, Prof.DSc. Jacek Leluk and Prof.DSc. Cao Long Van, met with Vinh University’s direction board and relevant division’s representatives.
In the first session, representatives of two parties discussed feasible cooperative programs such as oversea study right at home university, joint degree program, scholarship program, etc. on powerful majors of the University of Zielona Góra. The framework of curriculum was minutely discussed and consistently agreed by two universities. furthermore, the training quality and international diploma delivery are greatly emphasized. As planed, Vinh University will recruit undergraduate and postgraduate students for the first courses in academic year 2009-2010 and the University of Zielona Góra will confer the diploma after they graduate.

For the following days, the delegation worked with faculties which train the same majors as the University of Zielona Góra. The purpose of this meeting with faculty deans is to detail curriculum, grasp their practical needs, advantages and disadvantages during the teaching activity. The delegation also met students of Physics Faculty, IT Faculty and Biology Faculty, through this meeting, they can understand the needs and expectation of students.
On March 23, 2009, the delegation once again met Vinh University’s direction board and they signed the memorandum defining framework curriculum which marks the starting point for high quality training in response to social needs for human resource.
Vinh University will officially visit the University of Zielona Góra soon and promote the cooperative program discussed today.
