The delegation of the University of Tokyo – Japan – paid a visit to Vinh University and a fruitful discussion of cooperative program with Vinh University’s direction board on November 23, 2009. Tokyo University’s representatives include Prof. Dr. IKEMOTO Yukio, Project Assistant Professor ITO Miho and professor FURUTA Motoo.

On October 24, 2009, at Vinh University, the Faculty of Biology will organize the international conference on Applied Biology: Tropical Biodiversity, Biotechnology and Bioactive Compounds in collaboration with the Faculty of Chemistry.

After visiting VinhUniversity, observing two classes, and learning about the University, the delegation of Nakhon Phanom Universtiy, Thailand was greatly impressed by the teaching, training and the equipments here at VinhUniversity. They also expressed the wish to cooperate with VinhUniversity, not only with regards to educational training, but also to mutual exchange of teachers and students.

On May 25, 2006, Vinh University and University of Potsdam – Germany signed the academic cooperation agreement.

More cooperation with Chinese partners marked by the signature of academic agreement between Vinh University and Quangxi University for Nationalities on May 27, 2005.

After an official meeting with Vinh University’s direction, Vocational Institute of Guangxi City decided to cooperate with Vinh University in language training. Two sides remain committed to the mutual respect, equality and benefit by signing the academic agreement defining articles related to the Vietnamese language teaching for Chinese students at Vinh University.

A delegation of Vinh University led by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoi, President, paid a visit to Hunnan Teachers’ Training College from September 3-7, 2009. Many programs of cooperation were discussed and came into execution.

After the meeting with the leaders of Vinh University, the Hong Ha University’s delegation suggested visiting the President Ho Chi Minh’s homeland although the sun was burning hotand outdoor temperature came up to 40 degree Celsius.

In the morning of  May 30 2009, a delegation from Vinh University led by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Minh Hung, Vice Rector, accompanied by his staff, Dr. Le Cong Thin, Head of International Cooperation Department and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Trong Van, Dean of Postgraduate Education Faculty paid a visit to LAO PDR and worked with Lao Education and Training Departments.

On April 24, 2009, authorities of two universities Vinh and Victoria discussed the detailed program of cooperation.

Today, February 24^th 2009, the Memorandum Signing Ceremony for International Cooperation between Victoria University, Australia and University of Vinh, Vietnam takes place in Meeting-room A (Building A1), Vinh University.
