The board of editors of  Vinh University’s website (www.vinhuni.edu.vn) organized a vote for top ten best events of Vinh University in 2011. Here is the result:

On the invitation the President of China Agricultural University (CAU), The Vinh University delegation led by Prof. Dr. Ngo Dinh Phuong, Vice President of Vinh University and other member as Prof. Dr. Le Van Nam (Dean of Chemistry Faculty), Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoa Du (Vice Dean of Chemistry Faculty), Dr. Tran Dinh Thang (Head of department of Food Technology) and Dr. Le Van Diep (Lecturer of Faculty of Agriculture Forestry Fisheries) arrived at the CAU on 28 December 2011.

Vinh University successfully held the debate on  “The foundation of Advisory council for academic affairs” under the program of Higher Education Project - Phase 2, Sub-project 6.13 on December 9, 2011.

On the occasion of the celebration of 36 years of Lao Independence, editorial staff of Vinh University’s website wish all Lao students a joyful and happy day. Herein is the greeting letter from Vinh University’s president, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa.

In its project of social interest strengthening, Vinh University financially and technologically supported Tuong Duong District’s farmers to start a new method of vegetable cultivation: bio-vegetable cultivation.

 Vinh University solemnly held the opening ceremony of 19^th Master course on November 21,2011. All members of directorate of VinhUniversity, the dean of Graduate Faculty and representatives of different divisions and 552 new master students of VinhUniversity participated in this ceremony.

To promote the HR development and quality of training, faculties have organized visit to classes to evaluate teacher’s and student’s activities since early November 2011 at Vinh University.

The Faculties of Biology and Physics organized their 50^th anniversary on October 15-16, 2011 (1961-2011). Representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Thanh Hoa Provinces took part in this event.

Vinh University successfully organized the second academic conference on natural science to Cambodian, Lao, Malayan and Vietnamese PhD and MA students on October 12, 2011. Participants came from Cambodia, Laos PDR., Malaysia and Vietnam.

 Mr. Alain Rubé, President of Côtes d’Armor Vietnam Association, and two French Volunteers at Nghe An French Center (Centre de la Francophonie) visited Vinh University and worked with the University’s representatives on October 7, 2011. The Vice-President, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Ngo Dinh Phuong and his staff formally received the delegation at the University.
